The 2016 Knappstein Shiraz displays typical Clare Valley style and texture. Spicy highlights with red and black cherry aromatics lead into an energetic palate, with flavours of spice red fruits and blackberries supported by a savoury element.

The texture is lithe and firm with fine-grained tannins providing a backbone for the flavours to wrap themselves around. A wine of lifted vibrancy and tremendous persistence. Firm but fine tannins and oak provide structure and framework for a textural and lengthy finish.
