2018 Clare Valley Malbec
WinemakingThe wine was made with a responsive winemaking approach to preserve fruit purity. The wines are made with as little handling as possible allowing the fruit to show through. Simple fermentation in open fermenters were with gentle extraction of flavours through hand plunging. Ferment lasts around 14 – 18 days. Skins are then pressed and wines allowed to settle before being transferred to French oak barrel
With careful cellaring this wine will reward ageing for up to 10 years.
