2018 Insider Riesling
The wine was fermented in two parcels
The first parcel was fermented under carbonic fermentation to drive sherbet and boiled lemon sweets while the second parcel was gently squeezed to barrel where it under went a wild ferment to drive the palate weight
The goal was to produce a wine that spoke loudly of variety and place but in a style somewhat different to what is considered classically Clare Valley.
